H3C S1205-PWR Series Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Switches

H3C S1205-PWR Series Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Switches

H3C’s S1200 Series includes the company’s proprietary unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switches, delivering wired Gigabit Ethernet connections at wire speed, in desktop or rackmount configurations, designed for small businesses. businesses and any other users who need the basic capabilities of Layer 2 networks in the form of devices that do not require configuration. The S1200 series includes seven models of Gigabit Ethernet switches. All feature 10/100/1000 Mbps ports, providing a low-cost solution for Gigabit Ethernet connections using Category 5e twisted pair cables. The series includes models for 5 ports with and without support for powering devices over twisted pair cables (PoE). In addition, there are 16-port and 24-port models equipped with RJ45 connectors only. The 24-port model with two Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports is ideal for applications requiring long-haul fiber connections. Another 24-port model provides support for power over twisted pair cable according to the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard on 12 ports; This model is capable of delivering up to 30 W of power through these ports to power access points, IP phones, IP cameras and other PoE-enabled devices. For configurations that require low-cost, high-speed fiber connections to servers, this series features a 24-port 10/100/1000 switch with two 10-Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ trunk ports.

Easy to use

Unmanaged devices provide plug-and-play ease of use

Auto-negotiation of speed

The speed of each individual port is selected automatically depending on the capabilities of the client device; No manual configuration required for plug-and-play simplicity.

Comprehensive status information for each port via LED indicators

< p style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to determine at a glance the status, activity, speed and duplex mode of each switch port.

Flow control< /p>

Helps ensure reliable data transmission when operating in full duplex mode.

Automatic detection cable type (IEEE Auto-MDIX)

Automatic adjustment to cable layout (standard/crossover) on all RJ-45 ports.

Connections

Gigabit Ethernet connections at speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps

Supports high-speed Ethernet connections using low-cost Category 5e twisted pair cables.

Supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic interfaces

Future-proof 10-Gigabit Ethernet interfaces provide high-speed connections to servers or other switches using fiber, with flexible use of SFP+ or SFP transceivers.

Power devices over twisted pair according to IEEE 802.3at (PoE+)

Up to 30 W per port, which provides support for the latest PoE+ devices, such as IP phones, wireless access points, CCTV cameras and any other IEEE 802.3af endpoints; eliminates the cost of additional power and outlet wiring that would otherwise be required to install IP phones and wireless devices (on PoE-enabled models).

Performance

Support for Energy Efficient Ethernet specifications

Support for the new IEEE 802.3az standard; the ability to reduce power consumption when working with client devices,
